After class Aleesia, Jacqueline, and I picnic-ed at the park. I packed a sandwich, but I bought chips at the store, and my choice was potato chips with sea salt and peppercorn. I didn't even realize at first, but once I got to the park I laughed because I think if they had, had those when Grandma was alive, sh would have
loved them. It was gorgeous outside, a perfect 78 degrees and sunny, which we haven't had in a few days. It was really, really nice. It really made me appreciate my friends and my time here. We stayed at the park, tanning, reading, napping, etc., for 2 hours until returning back to FSU.
Once I got home I took off for a run. I didn't want to walk all the way back to the park to run and have to walk back though. I, instead, walked until I found a less busy sidewalk, in which case I would start running. This continued for about 45 minutes, and I really think it worked. I have also learned, in my week here, to walk on the correct side of the pathway (hint: it's the left side).
Later, around 8, I went up to Jacqueline's apartment and 6/7 of us played cards for a few hours. We started off with Egyptian Rat Screw, we got sensible with Hearts, and back to insanity with Spoons. It was so much fun, it was wild. We had to break the night at 11, because we're going to Cornwall tomorrow and we all had to pack.
