Halloween 2015

stupid. stupid. stupid.

The dinner went alright...but there were way too many people and not enough kitchen/living area space. The thought was fun though, and dressing up was interesting. There was so much food and a lot of cleaning up to do, but that's okay. Dara and some of the girls went to a Haunted House afterwards, after the game, but I was not feeling that. Maggie had told us that they grab you and that they were chased, literally, down the road at the end of it...so, I decided that wasn't for me. Instead, Caitlin, Jacqueline, and myself stayed in to watch Netflix. We started going through the horror movies and then decided against that, so we watch Kicking and Screaming instead. We cleaned up after that, and ended up going back to our respective apartments a little after 1 am.

She was a pinata
Everyone else at FSU were either out, going out, or they were too drunk to go out. Seriously, it was 6 pm and there were already people passed out over toilets and on couches, it was the talk of the building. Gross. Anyways, my roommate, gets in at around, 4 am and throws up. On herself. In her bed. On the floor. In all honesty, I thought about just leaving her there so she could wake up the next morning feeling ridiculously stupid and mortified. She should be. She's stupid. Why would anyone want to get so drunk that they vomit and can't even recall the night? Why? I don't understand.

Anyways, after a while I realized I wouldn't be able to sleep, there or in the living room knowing that she'd just laying in her own disgusting fluids. So, I went down to reception, at 4:15 in the morning, to see if they had any sort of disinfectant, or bleach, or any sort of soap. One thing they don't supply us with because we have people that come in and clean for us...on Mondays.

With the small language barrier, I don't think she really understood what I was asking for, but she told me that she'd do it. She did. She found a mop..but I don't think any soap really. But, whatever. Cleaned her up the best she could. There was no getting her out of bed, she could barely roll over, she was so out of it. Stupid. So, after that all went down I was then wide awake, right, so I did some homework...until about 7 am.

I guess the perks of being up that early was that I could easily talk to Jake, Madison, and Shelby because it was only midnight-ish at home. It was a rough night.

I woke up and went to the park, the riverbed, to walk, angrily, mostly because I did not want to be there when my roommate woke up. I'd give her the decency of being mortified by herself for a while. I also hit up church, because, why not? Came back, she was up, looking pitiful on a half made bed, and the washing machine going. Sucks. You're in college now, gotta deal with everything yourself now, no mother to take care of you, especially not me. Nuhuh.

Now, I'm currently in the library trying writing this...but I came down to work on macro. I got distracted, I'm too tired to write anything. Also, there are about 8 of the older girls sitting here reminiscing of what they remember about last night. Fun stuff. Money was stolen. Some girl was walked home by a cop. Another left her purse in one of the apartments, so really early this morning she took the receptionist around opening the doors until she found it. What?

I just don't realize how people can be so stupid. Also, for not celebrating Halloween, the Spaniards, really like to celebrate Halloween.

  1. I love your costume - being the "card queen". You are now living in the real world. Dad and I are really proud of you! Mom
